Parents at some Western Cape schools unhappy with COVID-19 vaccine drive Parents at some schools in the Western Cape are up in arms following a circular sent to school principals about a COVID-19 vaccination drive. The provincial Department of Education, in a June 8th memorandum, has informed principals that 12-year-old learners can be vaccinated without parental consent if a learner shows interest. It also instructs that schools will be used as vaccination sites. Using Vumacam poles for 5G base stations Vumatel’s Vumacam poles across Johannesburg could soon be used as 5G base stations, the fibre network operator’s parent company Remgro revealed during an investor presentation in June 2022. Remgro-owned Community Investment Ventures Holdings (CIVH) is Vumatel’s holding company, and it said it has thousands of Vumacam poles in the metropolitan that are base station-ready. Unlike the rest of the world, the entire medical and healthcare system in the United States is for profit. And when there's money to be made, you can almost be sure that someone will abuse the system. Health insurers implement secretive practices that stop people from accurately knowing what they're being charged. Companies like TeamHealth (owned by Blackstone) have such an influence over the business of the medical industry, that chances are your doctor or nurse is employed by them. And investment firms like Vanguard and Blackrock own at least a part in almost every single major publicly-traded hospital or healthcare system in the entire nation. And of course, as you might expect, it's the poorest people in the nation who always suffer as a result of this. But the thing is, this banking crash and financial crisis going on in China right now is hardly being talked about at all. And the story is just plain weird, in so many ways. What’s happening right now in China is crazy. Banks have defrauded customers of billions, lied about the products they were investing people’s money in, and even allegedly collaborated with government agencies in China to change people’s health pass status so they could force them to stay at home, and not protest. And although this is a very regional problem right now, China’s potential banking system bankruptcies and inability to pay funds to customers has already started spilling out into the West.
