የኢትዮጵያ የግል ከፍተኛ ትምህርት እና ቴክኒክና ሙየቓ ትምህርትና ስልጠና ተቋማት ማህበር ትላንት ሐምሌ 20/11/2015 ዓ.ም ከትምህርት ሚኒስቴር የከፍተኛ ትምህርት ልማት ዘርፍ ሚኒስቴር ዴኤታ እና ሌሎች ከፍተኛ አመራሮች ጋር ባደረገው ውይይት መሰረት ተቋርጦ የነበረውን የሬሜዲያል ትምህርት ፈተና በተመለከተ ውይይት ካደረገ በኋላ የሚከተሉት ውሳኔዎች ተላልፈዋል፡፡ 1. የሬሜዲያል ፈተና የሚሰጠው በመንግስት ዮኒቨርሲቲ እን ዲሆን 2. ፈተናው ከነሐሴ 23-26/2015 ዓ.ም እንዲሰጥ 3. ፈተናው በኦንላይን እንዲሆን 4. ተቋማት በካምፓስ ደረጃ የትኛው የመንግስት ዩኒቨርሲቲ እንደሚቀርባቸው ቀድመው እንዲያሳውቁ 5. ለተማሪዎች pass code and username በፍጥነት ተዘጋጅቶ እንዲደርስ 6. ለተማሪዎቹ መለማመጃ ጥያቄ ያለፈው ወደ ኮምፒውተር ተቀይሮ ሞዴል ኤግዛም እንዲሰጣቸው እና ሌሎች በቀጣይ ውሳኔ ተሰጥቷቸው የሚተላለፉ የሚገኙበት ሲሆን ይህን በተመለከተ ከትምህርት ሚኒስቴር በደብዳቤ ለሁሉም ተቋማት እንዲደርሳቸው እንዲደረግ የተወሰነ በመሆኑ በትዕግስት እንድትጠባበቁ እያሳሰብኩ ከተፈታኝ ተማሪዎች ሙሉ መረጃ የማጥራት ስራ እና ለፈተና የሚመቻቸውን የመንግስት ዩኒቨርሲቲ በመምረጥ እንድትጠባበቁ በጥብቅ እያሳሰብኩ በተሰጠው ቀነ ገደብ የተማሪዎቹን መረጃ እና የመፈተኛ ቦታ ያላሳወቀ ተቋም ኃላፊነቱን እራሱ የሚወስድ መሆኑን የተቀመጠ ሲሆን ሚኒስቴር መስሪያቤቱ ሊቀርብ ይችላል ብሎ ባሰበበት ቦታ ምደባ የሚሰራ መሆኑን ተቀምጧል፡፡

በባሕር ዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ በአቅም ማሻሻያ(Remedial) መርሐ ግብር ለፈተና ከተቀመጡ ተማሪዎች ውስጥ 92.78 በመቶ የማለፊያ ውጤት አስመዘገቡ (ሐምሌ 20/2015 ዓ.ም ፣ የውስጥ ግንኙነትና ኮሚዩኒኬሽን ዳይሬክቶሬት) ባሕር ዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ በአቅም ማሻሻያ (Remedial) መርሀ ግብር በተቋሙ ላለፉት አራት ወራት ትምህርታቸውን ከተከታተሉ 2,022 ተማሪዎች ውስጥ 1,876 (92.78%) የሚሆኑት ለከፍተኛ ትምህርት ተቋም መግቢያ ብቁ የሚያደርጋቸውን ውጤት እንደአስመዘገቡ በባሕር ዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ የጀማሪ መርሐግብር ፋካሊቲ ዲን የሆኑት ዶ/ር ሀብታሙ ታምራት ገልጸዋል፡፡ ዩኒቨርሲቲው በተፈጥሮ ሳይንስ 417 ተማሪዎችን፤ በማህበራዊ ሳይንስ ደግሞ 1605 ተማሪዎችን ያስፈተነ ሲሆን በተፈጥሮ ሳይንስ 93.76% እንዲሁም በማህበራዊ ሳይንስ 92.52% ማሳለፉን ዶ/ር ሀብታሙ ታምራት ተናግረዋል፡፡ ዲኑ አክለውም ለተማሪዎች ከፍተኛ ውጤት መመዝገብ ሰፊ የሆነ ቅድመ ዝግጅት መደረጉ፤ መማር ማስተማሩ ላይ ከፍተኛ ክትትልና ድጋፍ እንዲሁም ተገቢ የሆነ ምዘና እና ግብረ መልስ መሰጠቱ ብሎም ቅንጅታዊ አሰራር መከተሉ ለውጤቱ መመዝገብ ጉልህ አስተዋፅዖ እንዳበረከተ አስረድተዋል፡፡
