I cant replicate this somehow. Can you share a video maybe. And also if your using markdown extension or some other extension.

that one works pretty neatly, but it does different thing, extracting content into separate note. i would like to select text and add double angular brackets around it. 'new note' seems to be in the right place to the job, as its present on 'right click / long press' only if text is indeed selected, yet it does not offer the functionality.

See this image. The files in default app folder can be accessed from the default app. Its sometimes called files, downloads, or documents on android.

They are not repositories in the way you are envisioning. They're folders with markdown files in them. I assure you, deleting them deletes the files.

When "Date in add note" is enabled, it would be great if the app adds a space between date and note name in case of bookmark notes and video notes. #enhancement #bug

I just realized, the ${mdate}$ isn't changing each time I open the file, even if I put it in manually instead of using a template. I thought that was the point of yaml variables. Now I'm not sure how they're useful. 🤔

I've already chose Ametist dark. Or maybe need to choose somewhere else?
