Omeprazole: #brief_notes #BNF 1- Omeprazole IV to be over 5 mins.(not less than 3mins) and If given IV infusion to be over 20-30 mins . 2- Omeprazole continuous iv infusion (IVI) to be at rate: 8mg / hr . 3- Omeprazole IVI: 40mg dilute to 100 ml with glucose 5% or NS . 4- Omeprazole will be stable in dextrose 5% for 6 hrs after reconstruction. And for 12 hrs in NS . 5-- Omeprazole in Pregnancy and BF: Not known to be harmful. . 6- Omeprazole in hepatic impairment: Not more than 20 mg per day should be needed . 7- Do not give it with clopidogrel
