In the depths of darkness, where sounds fade and thoughts collide, the kothic finds its spiritual ecstasy — as if in every shadow, there is a burning that opens a gateway to the light hidden within.☮️☣️

In the far corner of my grandfather’s old attic, where sunlight barely reached through a crack in the wood, there was a black box no longer than an arm’s length. No one ever spoke of it. Even my grandfather, who loved to tell stories, would look away whenever I asked about it.
I was fifteen when I decided I didn’t want to be like the others. I didn’t want to accept silence as an answer. I waited until midnight, when everything was still, and climbed up.
The attic was colder than usual, as if it knew I was coming. I walked carefully, my eyes locked on the box. There was no lock, no key—just strange carvings I’d never seen before. Circles with eyes inside, upside-down numbers, letters that belonged to no language.
I reached out and opened it.
No light. No smoke. No sound.
Just a small mirror. But it didn’t reflect my face.
It showed another face… similar to mine, but with one eye, smiling for no reason.
I could’ve sworn I heard a voice inside my head:
"You’re late, but you’ve finally come."
I screamed. Slammed the box shut. Ran downstairs.
The next day, the box was gone from the attic.
I never found it again.
But sometimes, when I look in the mirror…
I see that strange smile.
It smiles at me—before I smile.🎃

I'm not running away from reality, just going into my dark imagination as a therapeutic trip. ⚠️
