Let’s Meditate 📖 ❗️You are the Temple of God❗️ The first idea of constructing the House🏠of God came from God Himself, when He asked the Hebrews in the wilderness to build a Tabernacle⛺️where He could dwell among them (Exod. 25.8)😃 Later came the inspiration from David to build a Temple in Israel, 🏛️to reveal to all nations the greatness of the presence of the Most High among His people (1 Chron. 22.7). 🕊️In both buildings, the glory of the Lord was poured out to show that He was among the Israelites (1 Kings 8.10-11). All Jews were aware of the holiness, purity, and spiritual value that the Temple represented😃 When Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit, revealed that the righteous become the true Temple of God in the New Covenant, 💍a treasure was uncovered. This is an exhortation from Paul for there to be unity in the church at Corinth🫣They all had to carefully watch to preserve the Word and its sound doctrine. 📖Paul knew there were harmful spiritual differences among the members of the community🫣such as partisan issues and new doctrines taught by new Christian teachers🫤 One of the dangerous disagreements referred to which leader the people should follow😑We learn from this instruction that those who are of God strive so that everyone can have their mind turned to the Scriptures,📖in order to prevent such divisions from causing disturbances within the Work of the Most High👏 Those who allow themselves to be led by ideas 💡and people without subjecting them to a detailed evaluation within the Word are deceived and have damaged their spiritual life🔥📖✨🕊️👏😃 Commentary by Bishop Macedo on the Bible Fiel App.
