Let's Mediate❓📖 You shall be witnesses to Me. The Lord Jesus had given His disciples many instructions over those forty days, but His last words before ascending to Heaven were about the promise of the Holy Spirit.🤩 The Savior said that the Comforter would come upon His servants so they received power to witness to His resurrection.🕊️This is the main reason why the Holy Spirit is poured upon a person’s life.😃 After all, no follower, however faithful he or she may be, will be able to bear witness to the One who died and rose again without having first received His Spirit. The order that the Lord Jesus gave His disciples to proclaim His Word “in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” would only be possible with anointing and with authority of the Holy Spirit,🕊️ for they would face much opposition and resistance not only from the Jews, but also from the Gentiles.😱 The Holy Spirit empowers His servants to bear witness to the Lord Jesus not only through words, but above all through their actions and their behavior in this world of unbelief. 😃🤩💭🕊️📖 Commentary by Bishop Macedo on the Bíblia Fiel app.

Day 3 of the Fast of Daniel🕊️ Have you anointed yourself and spent time with God today ❓

Let’s meditate 📖 ⚠️He commanded them⚠️ Jerusalem was no longer a safe place for the disciples because of persecution 🫣but Jesus wanted them to remain there until they received God’s greatest Inheritance for His children the Holy Spirit🕊️ In the same city where the Messiah, the Son of God, was humiliated and outraged, His glory would be revealed.🤩 In the spiritual sense, staying in Jerusalem means not being afraid nor avoiding persecution that comes because of our faith.😃 It means turning our thoughts totally to God and desiring His presence🔥 more than anything else, denying our own will and placing our lives in the Hands of the Saviour.🙌 Those who do this are ready to receive the promise of the baptism with the Holy Spirit and are qualified to perform His Work in this world. 🌍🕊️🔥📖 Commentary by Bishop Macedo on the Bíblia Fiel app. 🔈Instagram
