Mendeleev's Prophetic Dream. In the snowy lands of Tobolsk, Dmitry Mendeleev was born on February 8, 1834. This visionary Russian chemist reportedly had a dream on February 17, 1869, in which he organized an upscale chemical party: Elements, dressed in tuxedos and molecular evening gowns, danced all night - carbon would cha-cha-cha with oxygen, while hydrogen sang "La Cucaracha." This whimsical dream gave birth to the periodic table of chemical elements. Some may argue it was simply an indigestion of lentil soup mixed with vodka, but we prefer the version of Mendeleev's chemical revelation in the nocturnal world, taking it as a divine calling. Because, of course, this is how all great scientific discoveries should begin – with a fancy soirée in the spirit of a dreamy scientist!🤡 📜🇬🇧🇫🇷 https://simple.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dmitri_Mendeleev https://www.britannica.com/biography/Dmitri-Mendeleev 📽🇬🇧🇫🇷🇩🇪 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fPnwBITSmgU https://youtu.be/0iLqHbGHDd8?si=WzMyKjJS_U6fuk5Q https://youtu.be/XR0DR4XjF7U?si=4Vi8rRTG4_nxiWVk #DmitriMendeleev #PremonitoryDream #DivineDiscovery #ScientistDreamer

In 1857, Pastor James Lord Pierpont (1822-1893), uncle of the renowned financier J. P. Morgan, published a melody titled "One Horse Open Sleigh" for the American Thanksgiving celebration. Inspired by winter strolls in Massachusetts, where silent sleighs required bells to alert pedestrians, it saw no commercial success. So, in 1859, he relaunched it with the new title "Jingle Bells," swiftly becoming a "standard" for year-end festivities despite its non-religious content. Originally associated with adult festive gatherings, accompanied by the jingling of ice in their glasses full of alcohol. The English lyrics subtly refer to sleigh rides with lovely young girls: "Now the ground is white, Go it while you’re young, Take the girls tonight, and sing this sleighing song." "These lyrics sung by adults evoking sleigh rides with pretty young girls raise questions about the intentions and nature of these winter celebrations, especially considering that the expression 'Jingle Bells' to ring the bell could refer to male genitalia." Not surprisingly, especially as we begin to learn about the darker intentions and practices of that time. 📜 https://www.kusc.org/culture/arts-alive-blog/the-history-of-jingle-bells/ https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jingle_Bells#:~:text=It%20was%20written%20in%201850,or%20as%20a%20drinking%20song. https://www.radiofrance.fr/francemusique/la-surprenante-histoire-de-vive-le-vent-chanson-iconique-de-noel-2303894 https://momes.parents.fr/chansons-et-histoires/comptines/comptines-de-fetes/comptines-de-noel/jingle-bells-898274 https://www.deutschland-lese.de/streifzuege/lieder/weihnachtslieder/jingle-bells/ https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=480tKkWidhw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IYr3k8KkFAQ https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rcOp-IDpxDc #JingleBells

The founding father of Zionism. Theodor Herzl, born in Budapest in 1860, was more than just a journalist; he was the mastermind behind the idea of Zionism. Witnessing the antisemitic turmoil in Vienna, Herzl felt the urgent need for a refuge for Jews. In 1896, he crystallized this vision in "The Jewish State," calling for the creation of an independent Jewish state. In 1897, he presided over the First Zionist Congress in Basel, laying the groundwork for the movement. He eventually succeeded in negotiations with world leaders, including a meeting with Pope Pius X in 1904, seeking his support for the establishment of the State of Israel. Although Herzl did not live to see the complete realization of his dream, his death in 1904 only reinforced his legacy. The State of Israel, born in 1948, was the fruit of his dream. An often overlooked aspect of Herzl's time is the echo of Jesuit missionaries. Their role in transmitting knowledge, culture, and ideas, such as secularism, shaped the intellectual environment in which Herzl evolved. The initial schools and educational institutions, often based on missionary writings, formed the foundation for intellectual development and contributed, albeit indirectly, to the genesis of Herzl's Zionist ideal. Furthermore, the religious influence of missionary writings resonates in Herzl's vision. The concept of a refuge for Jews, present in his work "The Jewish State," can be interpreted as a response to the need for protection against antisemitic troubles, aligning with the missionary ideals of providing a spiritual and physical sanctuary. 📜 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theodor_Herzl#:~:text=Theodor%20Herzl%20(2%20May%201860,to%20form%20a%20Jewish%20state. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=b6OUPzgOmJc 🇫🇷 https://www.cairn.info/revue-diogene-2015-1-page-75.htm 🇩🇪 https://www.jmberlin.de/vortrag-penslar-herzl
