The Supreme Court Bench comprising Justices Sanjay Karol and Aravind Kumar held that sentence or damages should be excluded in a criminal case when they come in conflict the conclusion of a civil suit.
The Supreme Court Bench comprising of the Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud and Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice Manoj Misra held that the courts will not look into the subjective satisfaction of the authority. But, the court may look into the procedural lapses such as lack of relevant material to arrive at such order.
The Supreme Court Bench of Justice Abhay S. Oka and Justice Sanjay Karol dealt with the validity of the notification dated March 2020 under the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, which brought this amendment into force, and held that it violates Article 14.
The Supreme Court bench comprising of Justice BR Gavai and Justice Sandeep Mehta held that the least that is expected of him is to give reasons as to why he disagrees with such a report and as to why he finds it necessary to take cognizance despite the negative report submitted by the I.O.

We are half-way through the JudiSure Introductory Course as we completed five classes today. We hope that you’re learning a lot from the JudiSure Introductory Course.
