That might sound obvious, but Bohen says plenty of traders forget there's a third option: staying out entirely. Remember all the "AI bubble" talk about a year ago? Everyone shouting $NVDA, $SNDK, and $MU were overpriced, screaming sell. And Bohen keeps wondering why so many people are desperate to be the one who called the top, even shorting a trend that doesn't make sense to short, just to be right. • Not buying and shorting are two very different decisions. If someone says these AI names have run too far and they're not comfortable buying up here, Bohen respects that. It's a fair opinion, even if he disagrees with it. • Trying to guess the top and short it is a different animal entirely. That's where he draws the line. Skipping a trade because you're not convinced is reasonable. Betting against a trend you can't time is something else. • He still sees plenty of headroom in AI. Jensen Huang recently said AGI has arrived, and Bohen trusts his read on the space. Whether it's OpenAI, Anthropic, Grok, or local models, the technology keeps impressing him. Bohen's take? Nobody's more bullish on AI than him, and that thesis hasn't wavered in 18 months. He'll respect someone choosing to sit out. But shorting this trend, or the same flawed thinking that leads someone to keep adding to a 60% loser, baffles him. We're still early in this AI cycle.
