📈 Alchemist Update for Accounts with Suffix or Prefix 📥 Update Release for Clients with Brokers Using Suffix or Prefix in Pair Naming 🛑NOTE: This update only needs to be performed by clients who are using the software on a broker with a suffix or prefix. What is a Suffix or Prefix? Some brokers add letters at the beginning or end of the pair name. For example: EURUSD.sc, EURUSD.pc, or mEURUSD. If the pairs on your broker are spelled normally without any additional letters, then this update is not necessary. However, if the update is performed although you don't have a suffix or prefix, there is no downside or change. So, if you are not sure, feel free to perform the update anyway. Why Updating is Important: Fixes a bug in the monthly gain calculation in the GUI if brokers change suffix or prefix during the runtime of the software. What You Need to Do: Updating is simple and should take no more than 5 minutes. The update can be performed at any time, even while the market is open. Important: You can also install the software if you have open positions; the new software will recognize and take care of them. I have recorded a video tutorial to walk you through the process step by step. Follow this video to uninstall the current version and install the new version. Go to the 'Experts' Folder: Inside 'MQL4', locate and open the 'Experts' folder, where you will find the current ALCHEMIST files. Copy the new files: Navigate to the folder where you have saved the new files and copy them. Paste and replace the files: Paste the new files into the folder containing the old ones. When prompted to replace them, confirm with "YES". Close the Window: Once the new files are inserted, close the window. Refresh everything: Go to the Navigator on your MT4, make a right-click on 'Expert Advisor' and click 'Refresh'. After that, the software is successfully updated.
