In addition to CBE Birr, merchants using Chapa can now accept payments directly from Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) bank accounts, no extra setup required.
We've also made the experience smoother. Payments now carry a short, easy-to-say numeric reference, making it faster to confirm a transaction over the phone or in person, with none of the back and forth.
