i have neither a brother nor a sister. and growing up, i'd see my friends go out with their relatives, come back with them. for around 10 years, that made no difference because i had no idea what it even meant to have a sibling. i remember mom asking "do you want a sibling," and i exclaimed "no!!" (didn't wanna share the resources haha) but as i aged and witnessed friends working, having fun, sharing the most intimate thoughts and feelings each other, lowkey wanted to have a little sibling. that never became a reality. still, there are moments when you are just so down and you feel like sharing it with smn. and i grew up without that person. that sucks.

guys, if you flopped SAT, i just want you to know... that i failed SAT 5 times, the absolute record at the time. my classmates from lyceum used to mock me saying "add taking SAT as an activity." there were times that i got LOWER than the previous results, and that made me so emotional. one evening before i took the sat fourth time, i went to my favorite place in tashkent - the small waterfall - and i threw out my calculator, promising myself i'd never retake it again. andd.. i got 740 on the math section... which forced me to take another gap year. but i couldn't care less what my friends thought about my failed SAT attempts. the last time, i took the test in dubai, free of any pressure coz i had no one around who knew me, and i barely got 1500 in superscore. i rejoiced. that score got me into hkust, one of the top universities for economics and finance in the world. later, i found out that superscoring wasnt even permitted at hkust. but i just didn't know it, and my ignorance was a bliss. similarly, Jamshidbek, my close friend failed as many SAT tests as i did - he even took more tests than i did! ultimately tho, he got 1520 on his 7th attempt (in his SECOND GAP YEAR!!), and got into Vanderbilt University, America's #1 uni for education at the time, with full-ride scholarship. i can tell countless stories alike, but the broader point is failing an august SAT aint the end of your story. in fact, its a test for bigger, more heartbreaking setbacks, rejections. but both you and i know that you will persist, that no matter what your friends, society, and your inner devil whispers to your ear, you will resist the urge to give up and come out as a winner. and when you come out as a winner, you will realize all these scores and even uni acceptance matter not - its the journey, the act of aiming to the stars that made this adventure worthwhile. you can do it, just stay hard, artist!

hayot guzal is over💔 as you know fully well, i am a lover of great and beautiful food, and i like sharing pics when i have one. however, i recently posted a pic of qozon kebab on my instagram stories, smn i deeply respect send a message to me. he said its not appropriate to be posting pics of food for xyz reasons (i wont go into details). now even tho its smth i truly enjoy, i dont think i will be sharing pics of food anymore 💔 do i want to share? yes but in life, there are things you shouldn't do even if you want to - just like there are things you must do even if you dont want to. i have spent a considerable part of my life, especially admissions journey, without a mentor whose opinion i respected, so along the way, i made all sorts of mistakes. i got rejected from 110+ unis, did horrible activities in earlier years, but it all came at the expense of pain and suffering. but now i understand how easier and painless life becames if you just have a wise mentor who can guide you, who can stop you when you are doing smth wrong and who can push you when you are distracted. 💔💔💔
