The Virtue of Friday: Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله: ‎“Friday is the day when the people of Paradise will receive the ever-increasing reward. It is the day when they will see Allāh, the Exalted. Those who were the earliest to go to the mosque on Friday will be the first to receive this honor. Thus, the nearest to Allāh were those nearest to the Imam on Friday. To invoke Allah at a time of distress Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to invoke Allah at the time of distress, saying, لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ، رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ "La ilaha illal-lahu Al-`Azim, al- Halim, La ilaha illal-lahu Rabbu-s-samawati wal-ard wa Rabbu-l-arsh il-azim." Du’ā (Supplication): Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله: “And of the diseases that afflict du’ā and prevent its response is that a person is hasty in expecting a response, and the response is delayed, so he gives up hope, and leaves du’ā. His example is like that of a person who planted a seed, or a seedling, then guarded it, and took care of it, and watered it, but when it delayed in (giving its fruit) and reaching perfection, he left it and did not take care of it anymore!.” [Al-Jawaab al-Kaafi | P. 10] @jannahfruits #jannahfruits ?

The Tree of Sincerity 🌱 Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله: “A year is like a tree, the months are its boughs, the days are its branches, the hours are its leaves, and its breath is its fruit. Whoever's breath used to obey Allāh, the fruit of his tree will be good and pure. Whoever's breath used to disobey Allāh, his fruit will be evil. The time of harvest is on the Day of Resurrection, and at that time the fruit will be shown, whether it is sweet or sour.” [al-Fawā’id] @jannahfruits #jannahfruits

Do not become angry and Paradise will be yours: The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever controls his anger at the time when he has the means to act upon it, Allaah will fill his heart with contentment on the Day of Resurrection.” Reported by al-Tabaraani, 12/453, see also Saheeh al-Jaami’, 6518 Another great reward is described in the Prophet’s words: “Whoever controls his anger at the time when he has the means to act upon it, Allaah will call him before all of mankind on the Day of Resurrection, and will let him choose of the Hur al-’Iyn whoever he wants.” Reported by Abu Dawud, 4777, and others.
