Entry Types Entries and Management Confirmation Entry Identify a POI using the HTF (refine with LTF if desired). When price taps into the POI drop down to a LTF execution timeframe and wait for a BOS in favor of the POI and enter off of the newly created fractal LTF orderblock. Best used when the range between the HTF POI and LTF refinements are large. Best used when price is rapidly moving back to the POI. Best used when taking a counter trend trade. Best used when there are multiple POIs on the HTF to consider. Pros: Provides additional confirmation prior to taking an entry (LTF intent to switch trend). Provides increased RR as the POI is refined and executed on using the LTF. Cons: May miss trades that do not test the newly created orderblock on the LTF. May get false signals before the market shifts in the intended direction (liquidity grabs). Risk Entry Identify a POI on the HTF and use the LTF to refine it; set a limit order on the refined orderblock for entry. Best used when the POI and trade idea is with the prevailing trend. Best used when the LTF orderblock is within the HTF POI. Best used to approach a trade aggressive. Best used as a set and forget approach to trading. Pros: Provides entries to trades that tap into the POI and run. Provides high RR as the POI is refined to the LTF. Monitoring the chart as price taps into the POI is not necessary - autonomous execution. Cons: Minimal confirmation for entry so the likelihood of being tagged in and out of a trade is increased.
