Misuse and overuse of antimicrobials, lack of clean water, and inadequate infection prevention contribute to the spread of resistant microbes. AMR has significant economic costs, including death, disability, prolonged illness, and increased healthcare costs. The rapid spread of multi- and pan-resistant bacteria threatens the effectiveness of modern medicine in treating infections. | 6 | +4 SCOPH-AA in collaboration with other local chapters in Addis Ababa held a grand Trip to Entoto Natural park.
We are still trying to process how our trip to Entoto Natural Park became successful!!! It was more interesting and productive than we anticipated.
Health promotion activities were done using the social media accounts of more than 50 students. We have done aerobics together!! Games full of fun were played. we have also noticed there are people who could run well😁
The hiking is also unforgettable. The friendship created and the interactions taking place made us forget we walked that far.
Dear participants of the trip, as SCOPH officials in local chapters in Addis Ababa, we couldn't ask for a better team than you. You guys were the best!!!

We had very insightful panel discussion about mental health of medical students, played interesting games and watched a movie!!
