I discovered the magic of photography at the age of six, as it allowed me to visually capture a moment of the real world. Even more amazing to me was, and still is, the fact that photographs can reveal much more than mere visibility: a careful observer can always catch a glimpse of other layers or levels in them. Levels that today I can make visible and present experientially through various photographic techniques. This heightened visibility is not only more beautiful, but always more exciting as it attempts to penetrate beyond the surface of the real world and invite the beholder to reflect.
