Repost from Senator Babet.
Some commentators on social media claim Laborâs anti free speech bill is dead. It isnât. The bill is very much alive, with negotiations underway in Canberra right now.
If I had my way, the bill would be in the shredder and Canberra would be empty. Australians do not need more laws restricting their freedoms. We need the government to enforce the laws already on the books.
This bill as originally drafted could potentially give government the power to outlaw any group under the guise of hate. How long until having a biblical view on sex, gender and marriage is deemed as hateful, or perhaps having a view that mass immigration and multiculturalism is a detriment not a positive? Laws like this could be abused.
And Iâll put money on it, Susssan Leyâs woke Liberals will back Laborâs anti speech bill. Theyâll âwater it downâ just enough, then ram it through. They always do.
I have had enough of communists pretending to be centre right conservatives.

Leading constitutional lawyer Anne Twomey said the backdown on the anti-vilification provisions made the test for banning hate groups tougher for Labor, which will now need to prove groups are inciting violence rather than promoting hatred â a higher threshhold.
Zionist Federation of Australia president Jeremy Leibler said: âIf, because of these amendments, Hizb ut-Tahrir canât be banned, then the bill has a serious problem and the parliament needs to work together to fix it.â
âHizb ut-Tahrir has for years praised acts of terrorism and sought to normalise the most extreme forms of Jew hatred â and both the government and opposition have now called for them to be banned,â he said.

Weâve made a website dedicated exclusively for the members of parliament that vote for the hate speech tomorrow.
youâll be forever remembered on the domain:

Email this article to every liberal MP and senator. call Their office and explain as well. If they can see themselves getting banned will eb more likely to vote against it.
Repost from Noticer News
A top legal expert has warned Labor's proposed "hate groups" laws could be used by a future government to ban its main opposition party.
"Politicians need to take a breath and see what they are potentially doing"

I strongly urge everyone here to contact every Liberal and National senator and make sure they vote against the Prohibited Organisations amendment.
I discuss the dangerous and unintended consequences of this in depth with Sam Bamford, including how it could harm NSN today and left-leaning organisations tomorrow. Make sure to watch the episode â Iâll post the link shortly.
