A MESSAGE FROM BISAN OWDA, FROM GAZA TO THE STUDENTS OF THE POPULAR UNIVERSITY:
“Do not allow universities to normalize your demonstrations and claim to support them, because this seeks to buy time, mitigate the severity of the revolution you started, and circumvent your goals.”

Repost from Resistance News Network
🚨 Political prisoner Mumia Abu-Jamal speaks to the CUNY occupation on a phone call from prison and urges them to demand more:
"It is not enough to demand a ceasefire. How about this? Make your demand cease occupation! Cease occupation! Let that be your battle call, because that is the call of history, of which all of you are a part. You are part of something magnanimous, magnificent, and soul-changing, mind-changing, history-changing.
Do not let go of this moment. Make it bigger, make it more massive, make more powerful. Make it echo up into the stars."
He added, "Do not bow to those who want you to be silent. It is time, right now, this day, this month, this moment, to be heard. And shake the earth so that the people of Gaza, the people of Rafah, the people of the West Bank, the people of Palestine, can feel your solidarity with them."
The crowd chanted: "Brick by brick, wall by wall, free Mumia Abu Jamal!"
Mumia, a journalist and former Black Panther, is one of the longest held political prisoners in the US, having been held for 42 years. He turned 70 years old a few days ago.

🌱 Palestine is everywhere reports:
The movement of encampments and (de-)occupations is spreading across the country to stop the genocide in Palestine.
Columbia is under threat of eviction. The coming days will be decisive. What happens at Columbia’s campus has significant implications for our city and interconnected struggles.
Movements leap over their impasses by getting creative. The tasks today are clear.
Act to prevent the invasion of Rafah. This means we cannot back down. This means we have to think in terms of days and hours, not weeks and months. We have to escalate the social crisis. We have to create a situation in which turning back is not possible.
Now is the time for initiative that is thoughtful, creative, audacious, imaginative, inspiring, hopeful, joyous, and courageous.
Columbia needs to be opened to the community, as it has promised after ‘68, when it said their gate would never be closed to the community again.
Flood Columbia. March on the gates. 9pm.

Repost from Columbia University Apartheid Divest
BREAKING: With her threat having been leaked on social media, President Minouche Shafik has now confirmed in an email to university affiliates that the National Guard may be used to disperse protesters at Columbia TONIGHT.
This chilling pronouncement comes after days of bad faith “negotiations” on the part of administration, and a little over a week before the 54th anniversary of the Kent State Massacre, when the National Guard brutally murdered 4 students and injured several more for mobilizing against campus militarization and the Vietnam War. Shafik proudly embraces these clear historical parallels.
‼️
🚨URGENT ACTION CALL🚨‼️
‼️
WE ARE CALLING FOR STUDENTS, FACULTY, AND STAFF TO RETURN TO THE LAWN WITHIN THE HOUR, AND FOR PEOPLE OF CONSCIENCE ACROSS NYC TO GATHER IN PROTEST OUTSIDE OF COLUMBIA. WE WILL NOT BE INTIMIDATED BY THREATS BY THE STATE. DISCLOSE, DIVEST: WE WILL NOT STOP, WE WILL NOT REST. 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸
