02 Main Points about Ethereum ETF
🗒 Form 19b-4 has been approved for all 9 issuers on the list of candidates for launching an ETF.
Next, the S-1 form needs to be agreed upon and approved before the ETFs can start publicly trading on the stock market. 🧐
Bloomberg Analyst: Approval of the S-1 form may take a couple of weeks, but it could take longer! Only then will the Ethereum ETF start trading.
Eric Balchunas: It is quite possible that the S-1 form will be approved (and Ethereum ETF trading will begin) by mid-June. But this is just an assumption.
👀 Other authoritative figures have expressed opinions on whether Ethereum should be considered a security:
Chief Legal Officer of Coinbase: The SEC has officially recognized ETH as a "commodity" by approving spot Ethereum ETFs.
Cinneamhain Ventures: The SEC's decision on the ETF means that most other tokens, in addition to ETH, are also NOT "securities."
