Richard Corbett has 6,000 feathered friends (free range) that have to be culled on Sunday July 5thth – purely because these are the rules when supplying Waitrose M&S etc with eggs. I’m on a mission to try and find as many homes as possible for as many hens as possible – even if its only for 1 or 10 hens.  We already have five of his brood and they lay 5 eggs a day which is completely fabulous. So, if you have it in your heart to save a few feathered lives then please add your name to the list and return to me. The Collection date – which HAS to be adhered to – is July 5th. 🔥 Seventeen Seconds

The penny finally dropped this morning… As I was tuning in to why this news story (and I rarely follow mainstream media) was so deeply triggering/upsetting for me. Realising that it is a lesson in compassion. Feeling just as much empathy for Vickrum’s family as I do for Henry’s. Feeling compassion for Vickrum’s mother and totally understanding why she attempted to hide the knife. Feeling compassion for the Police officer caught on camera saying “Don’t think you have mate” when Henry said he had been stabbed. (He will now live with the shame of his heartless actions - regardless of whether or not charges are brought against him for misconduct in public office.) Finally, feeling empathy for Vickrum. 23 years old and now incarcerated for c20+ years at His Majesty’s pleasure (to use an old saying). Feeling into the Hell Realm of what that must be like… Knowing that he will be c40 before he emerges from The System. As a mother to 5 (now adult) sons, imagining how I would feel in any of these situations (a son stabbed on a night out and dead, or a son who did a terrible thing and found himself incarcerated in prison, or a son caught on camera making a grave mistake which cost another’s life). In other words, transcending the Right/Wrong, Good/Evil, Guilty/Not Guilty judgements being apportioned to all parties to this (including the mother and the brother ~ who were accomplices to the crime), and just feeling deep sorrow and compassion for everyone involved. And from that place of darkness and despair, Visioning a world so flooded with the Light of Unconditional Love that there can be no more conflict, violence or war. ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🕊️

Just spent the past 10 minutes or so weeding out all the spam comments from my Telegram posts. Despite have a bot 🤖 lots still gets through… You’d think Telegram would have A.I working to remove this scourge from its platform automatically !!! These are all fake accounts ~ presumably carpet bombing Telegram en masse. This is the good thing about Substack ~ zero spam. Much more interesting content + engagement over there! 🧡 Though I will keep my Telegram channels/groups active & fed as there will come a time when we need a non-curated, no algorithm platform which supports Free Speech.
