SPREAD THE WORD God Alone Provides Peace Psalm 4:8 Amplified In peace [and with a tranquil heart] I will both lie down and sleep, For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety and confident trust. This verse reveals where true peace is found. It is not in circumstances being perfect, but in trusting the One who holds everything. David wrote this in the midst of trouble, yet he was able to rest. His confidence was not in what surrounded him, but in who God is. God alone provides a peace that is steady and secure. The world may offer temporary comfort, but it cannot give rest to the soul. When fear rises, it can feel overwhelming, but when we turn to God, something shifts. His presence quiets what tries to take hold. This shows us His nature. He is not distant or uncertain. He is present, watching over us, and faithful in every moment. What we place in His hands is safe. Today we want to rest in the peace that comes from trusting God. Our hope is to release every worry and lay down knowing He is in control. Father, help us to trust You and rest in Your peace. Quiet our heart and remind us that we are safe in Your care.
