What we are establishing is a sustainable food infrastructure. We make our own compost by combining food waste, compostable waste and our chicken Pooh. It is fed with the moisture created by our worms from our worm farm. We have created a water purification system that allows us to harvest water to the right PH Level for our crop and chickens. Growing Dandelions as they are full of nutrients for our chickens. The compost is then used to grow our vegetables and herbs. The vegetables and herbs feed people and the peelings and herbs sustain our chickens and worms. We have created a worm farm. The peelings feed our worms, their moisture feeds our compost. The worms are a great natural source of protein for our chickens. Our chickens give us meat and fresh eggs and their Pooh is great in our compost. Going forward our aim is to pursue a food van. Where we can feed communities, cater events, train individuals, give individuals qualifications and experience whilst continuing our work of bridging the gap into employment.
