HOW TO ANSWER THE QUESTION "TELL ME SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF?" IN AN INTERVIEW?? "Tell me something about yourself" is a common interview question that can be daunting if you're not prepared. Here are some tips for answering this question: Keep it concise: Try to keep your answer to around 2-3 minutes. Focus on the most relevant aspects of your background and experience. Highlight your achievements: Talk about your accomplishments and successes in your previous roles. This will help demonstrate your skills and strengths. Tailor your answer: Tailor your response to the job and company you are applying for. Think about what skills and experiences you have that will be relevant to the role. Mention your interests: You can also mention your hobbies and interests, but keep it brief and relevant to the job. For example, if you are applying for a marketing position, you could mention your passion for social media. Here's an example answer: "I am a recent graduate with a degree in marketing. I have completed several internships where I have gained experience in social media marketing and event planning. During my most recent internship, I organized a successful charity event that raised $10,000 for a local non-profit organization. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer and volunteering at the local animal shelter. I am excited about this opportunity to apply my skills and experience to this marketing role and contribute to the success of the company."

ā“ā“Why YOU will never have unshakeable confidence in yourself ? šŸ“During the entire course of my experience as a Communication Skills Trainer and Confidence Coach, i never fail to ask a question to my audience," What do you think is the problem with you? ". šŸ“And the answer is always and invariably CONFIDENCE. ā“ā“Why so many people fail to catch this bird namely confidence and that too despite being really expert in their domain, communication skills and all other aspects which are sufficient to make anyone confident? āœ…Because they fail to understand the anatomy of Confidence !! šŸ—žļøLet me explain. šŸ“ŒConfidence is a flow of positive, boosting and nourishing energy. But this flow occurs through three pipes. šŸ“ŒIf all three pipes are aligned, the flow is unrestricted, and the individual feels fully confident but if any one of these pipes is misaligned, the individual suffers from the lack of confidence. šŸ”“Pipe # 1. SELF-ESTEEM šŸ”ŗYour identity is what you think you are. šŸ”ŗYour personal brand is what others think you are. šŸ”ŗBut your self-esteem is what you think others think about you. In other words, your perception about others' perception about you is your self-esteem. šŸ”ŗMost of us out there are appreciated by colleagues, complimented by friends and always commended by everyone for our amazing skills and performance but still feel "oh, he is just pulling my leg. I am not that good. I don't deserve such a lavish approbation. " This is classic case of weak self-esteem when you are not ready to accept that you are better than most out there. āœ…And this false belief keeps your pipe#1 misaligned restricting the flow of confidence. šŸ”“Pipe # 2: COMPETENCE šŸ”ŗSome of us out there are in so much of hurry to jump into action that we launch ourselves prematurely underestimating the value of competence. šŸ”ŗIf you don't have the mastery over your craft, you will feel lack of confidence. Hence, expertise, competence and mastery in your domain is indispensable for your confidence. āœ…And lack of competence keeps your pipe # 2 out of alignment hampering the flow of confidence. šŸ”“Pipe # 3: REPETITION / FAILURE šŸ”ŗYou might have heard ' Repetition is the key to success.' But what this beautiful adage failed to convey explicitly is 'Failure is a must for truly dedicated repetition.' šŸ”ŗWe are afraid of failing as if it is a stigma. ( Thanks to the society! ) But going right through failures is the only natural path available towards competence. Rest others are just shortcuts developed by people who failed multiple times . šŸ”ŗThis neverending cycle of failing and repeating the efforts with slight correction makes your Pipe # 3. āœ…Avoiding failures in pursuit of competence keeps your Pipe # 3 out of allignment. āœ…So now you have the system in place. āœ…If you have even one pipe out of allignment, you know you are not going that flow of confidence. šŸ’”Go have that confidence.
