Dosto, I had made some short notes for quick revision, as well as for last time revision. I am uploading some of them
Dosto, we should maximise the efficiency ( output / input ) of the last few days.
And, one of ways for it is the use of diagrams.
Use as many diagrams as you can in your answer. Of course, the diagrams should be adding value to the answer.
Here is a compiled set of diagrams that you all can use in forestry.
Hello Dosto,
It's less than a month left for IFS Mains 2023 and I know what most of you are going through. About 1 year back, I was in the same state - anxiety, stress, race with time, too much on the plate. All these combined to create a sense of fear as well as an urge to leave the war midway.
Please do not do this. DO NOT FLEE FROM THE WAR. Take each day as a new battle.
And I say this for following reasons :
1. People who get selected in IFS are, most of the times, those who kept on fighting till the last moment.
2. You are much more closer to the destination than you think.
3. As we get loser to any exam, the value of time increases much more. So last 5 days would be more important than the duration between last 25-30 day. And, ideally, so should our efforts.
4. Humans have a pictographic/photographic memory. With so much to memorize, the last imprinted photograph on the brain remains the most fresh one with highest recall value. So, revision in the last few days becomes the most crucial one.
5. Often, the last month is the time when we make maximum value additions to our notes/answers. And this has the potential to propel our marks.
6. It's crucial that we fight for every mark. In the end, we will see the value 5-10 marks plays in our selection and our rank.
7. Our fight in the last 30 days will define our career and even our lives in the next 30+ years. Just imagine the value of everyday. The Return on Investment in terms of time is > 365 X
8. If we do not fight for ourselves, how are we supposed to fight for 100s and 1000s of poor and vulnerable that we are supposed to serve. So, fight for yourself in the last remaining days.
9. Fight in the next 30 days, at least to give respect to countless days and hours that you have put in, as a part of long drawn battle you have been fighting for so long. There's a possibility that all the extreme hard work done uptill now may not fructify if you are not able to use these remaining days. Fight for all the sacrifices you have put in till now.
10. Fight for the sacrifices your loved ones have put in for you ( your parents, siblings, significant other etc ). our journey is not alone and often shaped by the efforts and resources our loved ones have put in. Ask yourself "Just like you, don't they deserve a happy ending?"
How many instances have we seen in which the course of the race or a match has been altered in the last lap, last few minutes or last few balls.
I beg you everyday, to keep on going for one more day, for next 30-35 days, one day at a time.
----APURV,
( Your friend, who is waiting to welcome you in this beautiful service )
Hello Dosto,
I started this Telegram channel as a means of inculcating discipline in me and my friends who had joined me in this common endeavour.
Now, I would diversify this channel to helping my fellow aspirants in their efforts to reach their aims.
We would first begin with Indian Forest Service Mains 2023, scheduled to take place less than a month from now.
