My close friend shared the story of his Dorm mate Seenicha, a young student/writer from Bule Hora who’s been fighting a severe illness for years. He’s been bedridden for over 27 months, and doctors say without urgent treatment in Addis, he could lose all control of his body. The treatment costs are way beyond what he or his family can afford (over 1M birr). He’s literally at a life or death point right now. If you can support, please send whatever you’re able 🙏 Every bit counts. Bank info: 1000718160522 PhoneNo : +251913612984 ( his phone number ) And even if you can’t donate, just sharing this could reach someone who can. Let’s come together and save this young man’s life. @selfmadecoder.

I can’t believe I’m doing this, but I wanna know how many of you aren’t who I think you are 😅

Having “interesting” or “unique” ideas doesn’t make you a genius. Believe it or not, everyone has ideas. When someone succeeds, a lot of people say, “I thought of that too” or “That was my idea.” Sure, maybe you did! but you weren’t the only one… What matters isn’t the idea itself, because ideas are easy. What makes you special is actually doing SOMETHING about it. Taking the first step, putting it into ACTION. That’s the hard part. That’s what sets you apart.

Gen AI is getting kinda scary. Some of these image generators are so good that even people you think are smart can’t tell if they’re fake at first glance. And since most people already trust whatever they see on social media, this is just fueling misinformation, fake news, and disinformation. You can already see it on X with all the fake pictures going around about Charlie Kirk’s death and his suspect killer and both sides falling for it. If people are falling for edits that look sloppy or photoshopped, imagine what’ll happen when AI makes stuff that looks 100% real. @selfmadecoder

Bruh, mom came into our bedroom trying to convince us to go to the living room and sit with the neighbors 😁🤦‍♂ … I’m like, nooo, no no no 😁 @selfmadecoder

Someone said he even has the Chinese New Year as a backup 😁 @selfmadecoder

🌼🌼🌼 Y’all better start thinking of every day as a fresh start 😁. Anyway, Happy Ethiopian New Year! (’Cause I know low key someone out there is keeping the European New Year as a backup in case this one doesn’t work out.) @selfmadecoder

The US is going full woke at this point, it’s honestly getting absurd. Charlie Kirk is dead. @natyiu0

I’m in a taxi on my way to church, and the guy next to me is scrolling through an IMO story. Man, I didn’t know you could edit photos and videos this badly 😁 until today. @selfmadecoder

Everything hits harder when there’s a story behind it. A song feels different when you know what inspired it. A founder becomes more than just a businessperson when you hear how they started. An athlete isn’t just someone playing a sport, they’re someone fighting through struggles you’d never see. Even a writer’s words stick more when you know the life they came from. Stories don’t try to sell, they inspire. They connect. They make us want to do better. That’s why the things we remember most aren’t the product, the trophy, or even the book itself… it’s always the story behind it. @selfmadecoder

I mean, he’s making a valid point 😁 @selfmadecoder
