Here are the reasons I don't like Telegram's new Channel Collections (or "Communities") feature. In fact, I removed myself from one immediately.
β’ It looks annoying, especially on desktop. That dropdown button makes the whole UI feel overwhelming to click.
β’ It reduces visibility for creators (or at least I think it does). There's a "Show as one" toggle that hides individual channels from the main feed and groups them into a collection. Now I have to find that collection before I can read a creator's channel. I accidentally turned it on, and now I can't even find most of the channels I used to follow. That's just bad UX. People can easily forget they enabled it, and your channel ends up buried in a generic, no profile picture collection that's surprisingly hard to find. π
This is just my experience and why I won't be using it.

When did you guys find out about the new Community feature on Telegram channels? π ... I can't even join a single one... every community I checked is already full. I think I'm way too late to the party.

I just feel like Iβve gotten a little lazy lately.
The tiny, silly decisions you make every day pile up until they turn into a big mess. and those little promises you make to yourself but skip because they seem too small to matter? they teach your subconscious that youβre not someone who does what they say theyβre going to do. thatβs what keeps you stuck.
So the lesson is: prove to yourself that you always do what you have to do, no matter how small the task is. Because itβs never really about the task itself itβs about building trust in yourself.

This was my very first programming tutorial.
Back in 9th grade, I found a 4 hour HTML & CSS tutorial by The New Boston (Bucky Roberts) on YouTube. During the tutorial, he said, "You'll need Notepad++ as your text editor."
So I went to an internet cafΓ© to download it... and some guy there tried to charge me 20 birr for it.(Pretty sure he was a CS student too) I remember running like hell to the neighborhood shop, borrowing 20 birr while telling them, "My mom said she'd pay you back." π
Looking back, it's crazy.
A random guy decided to upload programming tutorials 16 years ago, and because of that, some random kid from Ethiopia found his way into software engineering.
