We are few hours away from Xat. Some last minute tips from XAT'22 99.9%iler #roadtocat99 1. Don't overthink in varc. Xat varc is way different than CAT varc, while the elimination works in CAT but in XAT you should be more focused on what is asked and what is relevant. There is no hard rule of any easy que in va or rc. So try attempting all or atleast read all the questions which come. 9+ score would be safe here. As the marking is -.25 so personally I like to attempt as many as I can. 2. For DM, most people will go with gut feel or with ethical or with logical options. This is the trap. You first need to read carefully about what is asked in the question , whether it is for A or for B or for all stakeholders. Then do select the option which is relevant to the situation and more elaborative. Sometimes the option seems correct but is not related to the question. Don't leave many questions here but you can leave the ones where you are least sure. 3. For Qa, you don't need to do anything extra. You will have a lot of time with no pressure. Try doing all the que or atleast check all the questions. Use of options and backtracking would be much helpful here. One tip: read question carefully, read what is asked and what are the options. If the options seem too easy, re read question and question yourself too. If QA is easy then it would be deceptive too. Lrdi sets seem difficult from a glance but more closer you go more easier it will look. This section is way easier than cat for sure. 5. Alot of you are tensed about GK but nothing to worry. Go and attempt all. Nobody knows GK weightage and I think it is least or may not be considered at all. For essay writing, write what comes in mind at that time. Most basic structure should be Intro-description-solution. Be calm in writing and make sure you don't make mistakes. Rest things will be taken care when the answer key comes. Good luck for xat.
