The Office of Student Life is now taking applications. This is a voluntary service to the Office of Student Life – it is NOT paid. Good Evening everyone, Charity fun run tickets will now be sold at the Food Court from 10 am to 3 pm till Wednesday. We hope to see you in the following days! Tickets are 5k IQD. This will be going to donations for buying supplies for schools and doing small renovations. We will also be building library corners to provide students with something fun and educational! We also accept additional donations if you wish to give more for charity.

Good afternoon everyone, We apologize for the late notice that SAB did not sell tickets this morning for the Charity Fun Run. Members were at the food standing in solidarity for Palestine. Tickets will go on sale again at 1:30 at student life today. Starting next week on Sunday SAB will be taking in all forms of donations for the Palestinian people. Thank you.

Join us during the welcome back week. AUIB departments such as the library, wellness center and the math center along with the societies from different colleges and clubs have prepared so many surprises for you!! Activities will include gifts! Make sure to check it out in the food court patio!

GLOBAL DAY UPDATE Over the past week, there have been a few challenges such as the Office of Student Life moving to Student Services building, and a number of the Global Day items have yet to arrive. We are extremely sad to say that Global Day will be postponed until next semester. We are just as disappointed as you are, we were all very excited to make this event happen. No worries, your ticket is still valid until then. PLEASE DO NOT LOSE YOUR TICKET. But don’t worry! We will not end this semester on a sad note: We will have a SAB Spring Mixer on Saturday, June 3rd from 4:30-8:00pm. Venue TBA (to be advised) We will have student bazaar, live band, potluck, karaoke, and we will include field games and other activities. ALL STUDENTS ARE INVITED! No need to get a ticket - FREE. Global Day will now be on May 29th from 4 pm to 7:30 pm around the 00 building area. We will be selling tickets again next week. We will email you guys more information about tickets soon. If you have already bought a ticket but will NOT be able to make the new date, please wait for an email about the refund process. Get excited!

Good morning everyone, Here is an update on what has been happening for Global Day: as you know, we planned to have our event at the sports field. With all the wind and rain, the fence ended up bending and breaking and now the entire fence has been removed and needs to be replaced. They have informed us that it will take months to replace this and now we are unsure of where we could hold our event. We are prioritizing having our event and are looking to get approval for other locations on campus. If we are unable to have this event this semester, we will delay it until next semester. We are all disappointed by what has happened, but we are trying our best to make this event work and will be updating you as soon as we get information back. مساء الخير طلابنا، شوية اخبار جديدة بخصوص اليوم الثقافي، نفس ما تعرفون الايفينت كان مخطط يصير بملعب الطوبة، بس للأسف لشدة المطر و الرياح السياج وكع اليوم و بعدين الEDK شالت السياج كله و رح يبدلوا. انطونا خبر ان تبديل السياج رح يطول اشهر و حاليا ممتأكدين من ان اذا الايفينت رح يصير او لا، و اذا يصير وين المكان البديل اله، حاليا الأولية ان نحصل موافقات نسوي الايفينت بمكان ثاني بس في حال ما حصلنا مكان، رح نضطر للأسف نأجل الايفينت للسمستر الخريفي. الخبر جان جدا صادم و الصراحة كلش ازعجنا لان صارلنا ٤ اشهر نخطط للايفينت، بس دنحاول اقصى جهودنا ان نسوي الايفينت و رح ننطيكم معلومات جديدة اول ما نحصل عليها.

مرحبا طلابنا الاعزاء ندري مو الكل حصل تكت او ملى الفورم، نعتذر جداً منكم، احنه ردنا يكون الايفنت للكل شكد منكدر بس للاسف ادارة الجامعة حددت عدد معين واحنه مشينا عليه بالنهاية. الموضوع خارج ارادتنا اتمنى تفتهمون هالشي. رجاءً لتحجون على اعضاء ساب بالمو زين لان حتضرون نفسكم بس. وخلوا ببالكم احنه طلاب حالنا حالكم، وعدنا دراستنا وكلنا طلاب سنة ثانية وثالثة وعدنا حياتنا الخاصة. الموضوع مزعج وحقكم كلش، بس المشكلة مو بإيدنا احنه ، عدكم شكوى او اعتراض قدموها للستودنت لايف عن طريق ايميل رسمي، مو النا. شكراً الكم. نشوف بايفنتات جاية. 🙏

رمضان كريم جميعا !! رغبتكم الغامرة بالحضور الى الإفطار افرحتنا كثيرا و متشوقين جدا لرؤيتكم جميعا. كما سمعتم اليوم، كان لدينا عدد غير متوقع من الطلاب في مكتب الحياة الطلابية للحصول على تذاكر الافطار المصادف يوم السبت، و اضطررنا للأسف ان نغلق توزيع التذاكر لنمنع نفاذها من الساعات الاولى و عدم مقدرة جميع الطلاب بالحضور و الحصول على تذاكر. اشتكى العديد من الطلاب لعدم تمكنهم من الحضور و الحصول على تذاكر، و بالطبع لا يريد مكتب الحياة الطلابية ان تفوتوا محاضرة ابدا و لهذا قررنا ان نغير عملية التوزيع و كالآتي : سنقوم بإرسال استمارة غدا يوم الاثنين المصادف الثالث من شهر ابريل في الساعة الخامسة و النصف، ستكون الاستمارة مفتوحة حتى نفاذ الأماكن المتاحة، هذا يعني ان اول أشخاص يكملون الاستمارة سيحصلون على تذكرة. قوموا بمراجعة البريد الالكتروني الجامعي الخاص بكم بشكل مستمر لكي تحصلوا على تذاكر. نريد ان يكون لجميع الطلاب فرصة عادلة بالحصول على تذاكر لحضور الإفطار. اذا كان لديكم تذاكر يرجى عدم ملئ الاستمارة مجددا !! رمضان كريم مجددا.

Ramadan Kareem! We are so happy to see everyone so excited for the SAB Iftar! As you might have heard, we had an unexpected number of students come to the Office of Student Life for a ticket very early. We had to unfortunately close early to make sure we had enough tickets for all of the other students that could not make it in the morning. But as the day went on, we had many students concerned that they could not come at certain times because they had classes. Student Life would never want you to miss class, so we have decided to make a slight change: We will open a form tomorrow, Monday April 3rd by 5:30 pm. The form will be open until the last spot is taken. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE! Make sure to be checking your email for the form link! After the form is closed, we will email the individual students that were able to fill out the form. We want to give all of our students a fair chance to get a ticket for our SAB iftar. If you already got a ticket, PLEASE DO NOT FILL OUT THE FORM. Ramadan Kareem!
