| 2 | It's time. SVC will be reopened within the following 5 minutes. Here are the new changes:
SVC is now strictly a chatroom. No ads at all (unless you have a service which is vouched by @scrizon) in which case you may advertise a maximum of 3 times a day. Anything else will result in a warning.
1st warning = Nothing happens.
2nd warning = You get banned.
The blocklist has also been designed to warn you if you do say something which is on the blocklist like "B4nk L0gz" or any other cringe niggerfraud terminology. In the future, we will have a bot trained with AI to detect these types of things to ban users infringing the ad-related rules.
Moderation will be less strict, meaning you won't just be banned for arguing like back then, although if you do stupid shit to an extent where it pisses off everybody, then you'll also be warned. We now also have a moderation log system in place, meaning everything will be logged (which could help in things like ban appeals, banning bots, advertisers, scammers, etc.)
If you were falsely banned from svc previously (such as getting banned from the bot for saying "glass" on accident), you may DM @real why & how long ago you were banned & you will most likely be unbanned from the chat.
We hope these changes will turn svc into a normal chatroom like it used to be & that we won't have to close it again due to the recent influx of autism.

| 6 | So as you all know, svc has been closed for quite some time now. Theres several reasons for why it has been closed, but one of the main ones is ads. This chatroom used to be a place where you could go and talk with people that have similar interests, ask questions, etc. although its turned into a chat with constant (scam) ads being spammed, which we don't want & couldn't handle moderating.
We would be willing to return if the community is in favor of it, although some changes regarding rules would be made. The first one would be that svc would officially no longer allow ads, and turn into just a place for chatting, just as it used to be. | 332 |
