A reminder that we are not our own. But Christ is the guide of our life.

I would like to ask y’all to pray for us as we travel to Haiti. I won’t be posting much till after our trip.

Yesterday marked one year since the war in Ukraine began. One year since I left America and went there to serve. Looking back on that past year I’m just amazed at what all happened and changed. From evacuating in the front lines, under constant fire to falling in love and getting married. Never once had I imagined I would fall in love and get married in a war zone. I just see Gods hand moving in so many things, in our lives and the world around us. I think one thing I learned in the past year has been that no matter what the happening, God is in control and he wants to use every part of that event, whether good or bad, for his glory. He wants to make light out of darkness. In every dark moment in the past year, he has shown me a moment of light, that far outshone the darkness that seemed to overshadow at first. Every single happening somehow shaped me, formed me, taught me, or grew me. Right now there are many changes happening in our lives. God has brought many circumstances that changed our pathway moving forward. He has guided us and directed us to new footsteps, outside of what we had initially thought our steps were. We are still in the process of figuring things out and understanding everything. We would appreciate the prayers for wisdom and grace as we figure out the next steps in life. Your prayers and support in the past years have carried us through and we appreciate everyone of you so much. Seek the face of the Lord Jesus Christ every single day, keep pressing on. He will guide and direct your every step if you are willing to surrender to his will. Stay tuned as I update a bit in the near future of our next steps in life.

Swampy is a guy I’ve worked with and like a lot. He is a Brit doing Demining in Ukraine. He was the guy who went in and recovered our friend Pete’s body from Bakhmut. There is now evidence that this was not a stray shell. This was a deliberate and planned attack on civilians and medics. This is a war crime of great atrocity. In the link above you will find still shots from Pete’s team and in one the missile is caught moments before exploding.

I am now in turkey. One of our team was able to get tickets out closer to the disaster zone. The rest of us will be joining tomorrow morning. From there we will start by heading to one of the hotbeds of destruction and start our work as needed.

Pray for my team and I. We will be working on medical and rescue in some rural areas In Turkey. I will update as able.

On Monday morning at 2 am we arrived in Florida. Today I am on the way to Turkey 🇹🇷

Aleppo Syria - in the middle of rescue efforts the building collapsed!

Pete was a true hero. He worked in Haiti, Syria, Iraq and many other combat zones. His last ride was in Ukraine. Rest in peace brother. We love you.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce another tragic death in the work in Ukraine. Yesterday a evac team we work with closely took a direct hit from a mortar. 3 were injured and one was killed. This is not a direct member of our team. However some of our team had originally been planning to be with them. They instead were miraculously held back and we’re waiting for this team to get back to hold a critical staff meeting. This is a massive blow for our team and is very close to home for us. Please pray for the families, the teams and our team as they process this death and start moving forward again. It is by the grace of God that we do what we do. May he receive the glory forever.
