On Monday we packed all our stuff and cleaned out our little house in Dnipro. Later that evening we got on a train and headed to western Ukraine. This closed a chapter of our life. We are spending a week with family in the Rivne area bed we move back to the the states. It has been a little over a year since I left Iowa to come to Ukraine, and a lot had happened in that year. I’ve been places and done things I never imagined I could do. From evacuations under fire to food distributions on the frontlines. And not to mention getting married!😁💗 God has been so good. Pccr is continuing their work here in Ukraine, our part in that is over for this season. I don’t know what all our future holds but I know God is in control. For those of you who don’t know, we are expecting our baby in September, so I will return to my previous job(s) and raise a income to support our little family. I’m hoping to go for my paramedic and pursue that within the next year. We will see what doors open up. We also have to apply for a green card for Lucy so she can continue to live in the states. So pray that all would go well with those documents. Also pray for Lucy and her health. She had typhoid and malaria in a very dire form when she was In Uganda. She returned a few weeks before the war started and received treatment. However, her stomach and immune system are very weak. Both of these areas are a continuous struggle for her, especially with the pregnancy. So far our little baby is healthy and growing. But pray for health and strength for both as we travel and experience so many life changes in the coming weeks. I want to thank everyone who prayed for us and supported us in the past year. I cannot even begin to express my gratitude. And what will happen with this channel? Well when I came to Ukraine I had 80 followers! And now it’s is at almost 500 and I have no idea who all of you are!😁 btw hello! I have no plans of disbanding this channel so feel free to continue following or to unfollow. Posting will probably be less, for sure about Ukraine. Maybe a occasional thought or something on my heart. Probably a few occasional updates of our life as we start this new phase. Anyway feel free to drop a question or a comment. I’ll try to reply. Maybe I’ll even make a post with it.

This is what happened over night. I’m not aware of anything having been hit in our city. But last night we had approximately 5 explosions in the skies.

UA Air Force Update: - 16 Shahed UAVs were launched from RU between 21:00 March 17 and 01:30 March 18 - air defense took down 11 UAVs

Our welcome home to Dnipro is a series of explosions in the sky around us.

Been traveling since Monday. Just arrived at our house in Dnipro.

February started out with a planned trip to Florida and then to Haiti with a return to Ukraine. Upon arriving in Florida I heard of the Turkey earthquake. Within a day I was on a flight to Turkey. After 6 days in turkey I flew to Iowa to get back with my wife! Thank God for my family for taking care of her while I was gone. After 2 weeks in Iowa we few to Haiti where we spent 14 days on the project there. Then in the past 36 hrs we have been traveling out of Haiti and back across Europe and entering Ukraine. In April we will pack our bags and move to the states. For some time now we had been feeling our time in Ukraine closing and with all the happenings in the past few months we have felt Gods hand directing us back to the states. So please pray for us as we travel. The decision to step out of the field and into “normal” life is not easy and the pathway looks a little daunting some days. But we know who has brought us this far and we have no doubt that God will be our guide. Stay tuned for a bit more on the Haiti trip.

Just about to cross the border in Ukraine. Praise God for safety on travels. The past 2 month have been beyond crazy.

“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. -Matthew 6 : 31-34 These verses really stood out to me this morning. A reminder that we are not our own. But Christ is the guide of our life.

Just a update, we are alive and well. I will be waiting to post about this trip till after we leave. This is due to security issues. Thank you for your prayers and soon I’ll have a photo and story dump!😁😁😁
