Actually, this phenomenon has a name; it's called "Instapoetry". It might be started by the so-called Insta-poets on, well, Instagram, or also Tumblr. The poems are written in a very compact format to accommodate the picture format of Instagram post. Then they got popularised by figures such as Rupi Kaur and Gabbie Hanna.

Look at this shit. A waste of fucking papers and ink. A lot of these today's "poems" and poetry books are like this. Shaking my head slowly...

A lot of these "poems" are just mundane ideas or simple shower thoughts broken into lines.

And then they have the audacity to publish a poetry book that is basically just wasting papers because every one of this simple, very brief shower thought is printed on A SINGLE PAGE.

call it a

Sometimes, when they
feel a little
bit fancy
they will
press put
so much space
like this
for "aesthetic".
and most of
the time
they dont even
write
it
with
proper
grammar and

Indonesian people will pray five times a day, recite Quran, attends religious teaching, and will waste zero second to discriminate you the moment they notice you are slightly different than they are. If you're lucky, they'll torture and/or kill you.
And they do it all while yelling their god's name.
