Turns out the new Grok video generator is already being rolled out to paid X accounts.
It's called Grok Imagine, and it's available in the iOS app with the following limits:
β’ 50 for Premium
β’ 100 for Premium+
β’ 500 for Heavy users
It can turn text into images, text into video, and images into video.
Grok Imagine generates images very quickly (Aurora). You can instantly turn a generated image into a video (takes about 30 seconds), with four templates available: normal, fun, spicy, and custom (video creation via prompt). The spicymode touches slightly on NSFW themes like cleavage. Videos are 6 seconds long, with an audio trackβbackground only, no voice.
They say itβs being updated constantly.
A full-fledged video generator for Grok is on the roadmap for September. For now, theyβre warming up with vertical format content.
