The owners temporarily covered it with a tarps so that it would not leak. The windows and part of the facade are also damaged. Now the owners have a new roof and the house is protected. The roof of the main building and the kitchen was damaged as a result of shelling. The cellar near the house was destroyed by a hit. We decided to help and made a new roof in the main house and the kitchen. The family still has restoration work to do on the property, but the roof is now leak-free and the house has been preserved. Many houses in this village were destroyed or partially damaged. Earlier, we restored the roof in the house of her mother, who lives in Slatyne. Now we made a new roof in her house, there is still a lot of work ahead, but the house is covered and preserved. The owners is very happy and grateful for the help. Restored roof in Слатине / Slatyne village, Charkiv region. House 81 A genial family lives in this house, which was damaged during the heavy shelling of the village. Oleksandr is a local activist and volunteer, he helps his fellow villagers, delivers humanitarian aid and solves organizational issues in the village. Grandma Liudmyla Oleksijivna is the only doctor in Slatyne, who has returned from retirement to her favorite job and cares for and treats the villagers. Daughter Maša together with her mother Natalija feeds dogs and cats that were left by their owners in the village, or their owners died and the animals were left alone on the street. We are very glad that we were able to help this friendly family restore their roof. A woman works for the village council, after the liberation of the surrounding territories, she was the first to agree to go out to work. Restored roof in Слатине / Slatyne village, Charkiv region. House 70 This house is divided into 2 parts. A grandpa lives in one, the owners of the other part of the house are temporarily absent. As a result of the shelling, the roof was damaged, and there was a problem with the chimney. We decided to help the grandpa and made a new roof for the whole house, as well as repaired the chimney. The grandpa was grateful for the help. Recently, we wrote that the renovation of the windows in sports hall of Novyj Bykiv school was almost finished. We installed 14 small windows and restored the glass blocks of big old ones in gym, also we completed plastering works around the windows. The principal of the school, Natalija Mykolajivna, didn’t believe that pupils would be able to attend physical education classes in the renovated sports hall during this studying year. Thanks to the completion of the restoration works this became possible. After finishing the restoration of sports hall, school workers set up the heating, cleaned everything for classes, and now we’re already receiving photos of pupils making exercises.
