🖍Governments should spend less money on restoring old buildings and more money for new housing and road development. To what extent do you agree or disagree? The question of whether government should allocate money on new housing and roads rather than reconstructing traditional buildings has become a heated debate in recent years. I opine that the restoration of architectural buildings is also essential because they are considered as a cultural heritage and a source of income by enhancing tourist industry. The primary reason of my approval is that the old buildings depict the history, culture and heritage of country. They are built by nation's ancestors and preserving these buildings expresses our respect for them. In addition, historical buildings serve to pass the history to young generations. They might have a chance to know their history and learn their identity from it. Another noticeable reason for restoration of historical buildings is that they are one of the key factors which enhance the tourism industry of a country. For instance, several historical structures such as Registan, Sitorai Mokhi Khosa and Aksaray usually serve as attractions and landmarks for most tourists in Uzbekistan. On a yearly basis thousands of tourists visit these sights. This impacts on the business of people such as creates job opportunities, grows the hotels and helps the local industry to expand hand-made goods which provide tourist with the knowledge about the local culture and tradition. Apart from improving the living conditions of the people over there, a part of the income might be spent on roads development and housing as well. Having said that in up to date world countries are responsible to modernize the roads and supply their citizens with enough accommodation. So the proportion of government expenses should be invested to the construction of roads and housing. In conclusion, there are some supporting views for maintaining the old buildings in a good condition as they serve to educate history and improve tourism industry. #byGavhar #essay #writingtask2
