ما عرفتُ أحدا التحق بركب من وصلوا إلا كان فردا من جموع الساعين ؛ عليك بالسعي وتذكر : ﴿ وَأَنْ لَيْسَ لِلْإِنْسَانِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَى (39) وَأَنَّ سَعْيَهُ سَوْفَ يُرَى (40) ثُمَّ يُجْزَاهُ الْجَزَاءَ الْأَوْفَى (41)﴾ و أن ليس كل عمل نتيجته الوصول وإنما العمل المتقن فمن أحسن عملًا ليس كمن عمل على ضجر

اختيارُ الراحةِ الآن لن يورثَ إلا الشقاءَ لاحقًا. يقولُ ابنُ القيِّمِ -رحمهُ اللّٰهُ-: "قد أجمعَ عقلاءُ كلِّ أمةٍ علىٰ أنّ النعيمَ لا يُدرَكُ بالنعيمِ، وأنَّ من آثرَ الراحةَ فاتتهُ الراحةُ، وأنه بقدرِ الأهوالِ واحتمالِ المشاقِّ تكون الفرحةُُ واللذةُ؛ فلا فرحةَ لمن لا همَّ له، ولا لذةَ لمن لا صبرَ له، ولا نعيمَ لمن لا شقاءَ له، ولا راحةَ لمن لا تعبَ له". ما تقومُ دومًا بتأجيلِه، بالنهايةِ ستفعله، لكنكَ تؤثر التأجيل! ألم تسأل نفسَكَ يومًا: "لمَ أؤجل؟ وإن لم أفعلها الآن، فإذًا متىٰ؟" لم آتِ لأُثبطَ عزيمتك، فقط أتيتُ لتحذيرك! ستُرهِقُ نفسَك، وستشعر بالإحباطِ، إذًا لمَ لا تشرعُ في عملِك الآن؟! انهض! فكلُّ دقيقةٍ هي بدايةٌ جديدة. لا، ليسَ كلُّ يومٍ، بل كلُّ دقيقة! كلُّ دقيقةٍ تستطيعُ فيها التقاطَ أنفاسِك والسعي احمِدِ اللّٰهَ عليها. قمْ، وكُن محسنًا فيما بقِي، فربما تُجازىٰ عن الإحسانِ بالإحسان. استعِنْ باللّٰه يا صديق، وابدأ! _ضُحَىٰ أحْمَد.
