20 I find it interesting that individuals who are against the Bible as our authority do not use Scripture, at the very least, to uphold their views.
Scripture affirms that it is enough to guide our faith and actions. Check out 2 Timothy 3:16-17. Some people prioritize tradition, church authority, or personal revelation above the authority of God's Word. Scripture warns against this.
The following are some cautions from Scripture:
1 Jesus confronted the religious leaders of His time for elevating their traditions over God's commandments (Mark 7:8).
2 The apostle Paul also warned against being caught up in hollow philosophies based on human tradition rather than on Christ (Colossians 2:8).
3 In Matthew 15:3, Jesus rebuked the Pharisees for breaking God's commandment in favor of their tradition.
4 Peter warned against following empty ways from ancestors in 1 Peter 1:18.
5 Paul expressed his zealousness for traditions before embracing the Gospel in Galatians 1:14.
6 In Colossians 2:20-23, Paul warns against following human rules that might look smart but don't really help stop bad behavior. This shows the danger of choosing traditions made by people over what Christ teaches.
In 1 Corinthians 2:13-14 Paul states, "Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."
Staying grounded in the Bible is essential for being led by the Spirit. Straying from Scripture will lead to a loss of spiritual guidance. By remaining faithful to God's Word, we can be confident that our thoughts are aligning with His truth. Thus, we remain open to the Spirit's leading in our lives.
In Psalm 119:105, the Word of God is likened to a lamp guiding our steps and a light illuminating our path.
Hebrews 4:12 describes the Word of God as living and active, discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Our assurance and confidence stem from God's communication to us, rather than from what others say, write, or perform ritually about Him.

๐๐ป Itโs also blasphemy because it means either God spoke in error, or lied when the Bible was originally given. Imagine thinking God needed His word translated (specifically into English lol) before it was correctโฆ. Blasphemous insanity.
Godโs words were pure and perfect the moment He spake them.

Ruckmanite clichรฉs that claim to just โtake a firmer stanceโ on the KJV are completely stupid. Firmer doesnโt mean correct. If you are โfirmerโ on grace or the deity of Christ you will de-emphasize the fact of Godโs judgment or Jesusโ humanity.
Believe the Bible and take an accurate stance instead!
