After a meal, two cats see a portion of baked goods and begin fighting for it. A monkey sees this as a chance to take advantage and offers to assist them. The monkey divides the baked goods into two parts but shakes its head expressing they are uneven. He takes a morsel from one part and then from the other, but still finds them uneven. He continues to do so till there is none
