We're burning allocations from tokenomics for Development & Marketing, Staking & Rewards, and Play to Earn.

The best part? We're burning a massive 61,208,129,795 $KMC, which will reduce the total supply by a whopping 58%! 💥💸 And that's not all, we're making $KMC a deflationary token! 💸 Any incoming marketplace commission and creator royalties will be burnt, driving deflation through platform usage!

We have some development updates to share with you, which we would like to get feedback on.
We are progressing rapidly with the “Kitsumon: Battle” MOBA development. I’m happy to share all our 3D assets have been delivered from our development studio Adia which includes all kitsu attack animations and our battle arena map. We are currently going through several rounds of team QA on kitsu abilities which we will continue to post in the <#1001559623918178374> channel.
But there is lots of other systems required to provide the full features required by MOBA than just the game server and client. These are things like introduction of ERC-1155 game assets. Adding support to the marketplace for these types of assets. There are also several other EIPs we require to implement to provide intended features such as EIP-777 for pragmatic hooks when sending and receiving tokens. As well as support for our gas less system requiring EIP-2771 EIP-2612
To introduce these standards to support the features we need requires code update to the $KMC ERC-20 contract. When we initially deployed the ERC-20 contract for the TGE we opted to deploy a non upgradable contract a we thought this was in the best interest of the community. And these new product requirement and some of these improved EIP standards were not readily available or known at the time.
This means we will have to (at a date yet to be decided) hard fork the current $KMC contract to a new one. More information regarding this will be made available closer to the time but simply we will nominate a block number snap shot balances at the block and copy that state to the new contract holders will just have to update the contract address in their wallets.
While me and <@466703130554400788> discussed this we also reviewed our tokenomics and comments made by someone close to us (not about us) about how many tokenomic models are flawed especially with big allocations locked up which will result in constant sell pressure.
After reviewing our token allocations the majority are allocated for marketing giveaways and P2E rewards.
With the token contract migration we are proposing that we completely remove the following allocations
Play to earn rewards
Staking and rewards
Development and marketing
From our advisor allocation of the 4% available less than 1% has actually been assigned to advisors. We propose burning a further 2% of this supply. advisors who have tokens assigned have agreed to extend their lock up period
The founder allocation makes up 10% of the supply. As of yet no team or founder has been allocated $KMC from this. Our intention was to decide team allocations closer to the time the lockup period ended. We have agreed to reduce this allocation from 10% to 5%
This is intended to reduce all the locked up tokens that could eventually make there way to the market. And essentially fully diluting our marketcap to it current level.
We would like to make clear no changes to lockups or vesting lengths will be changed as per the TGE agreement.
Also as a project we feel that we have accumulated sufficient $KMC. The majority of kitsumon systems result in revenue for the company in the form of $KMC such as potion and land sales nft sales and royalties. We have decided in order to add a deflationary element to $KMC to
Burn all $KMC collected from the potion sales until the final batch
Burn all $KMC collected from the land sale
Burn all $KMC from the jester sale
Burn all $KMC from trade fees from the marketplace
Burn all $KMC collected from royalties.
As previously stated the hard fork of the contract must go ahead. But we want to put it to a community vote for the rest of the changes proposed in regards to the burn of token allocations and on going burn of fees.
