Never in a million years would I have thought I would be entertaining re-entering the world of addiction treatment and recovery. I swore off the industry in 2016, headed in the opposite direction PROMISING to NEVER RETURN. Well… you know what they say right? MAN PLANS, GOD LAUGHS. Maybe you didn’t know that I used to own addiction treatment businesses. A highly successful, nationally known sober living home and outpatient treatment program. Addiction treatment was my family business. I grew up in a family of addicts and then ultimately in addiction treatment centers after my mom sobered up and went to work in the field. I used to like to say that I learned the business through osmosis. As a kid, most of my free time outside of school was spent in Alano Clubs (IYKYK) and wandering the halls of the treatment centers my mom worked in and eventually ran. In my 30s we started our own centers. It was the most challenging, sad, exhausting and rewarding work of my life. It wore me down and slowly crushed my spirit. We did so much good and helped so many people and lost so many people. By the time I left in 2016 the industry was becoming so corrupt and I no longer believed the recovery dogma. There were so many flaws in the system. I was tired and found myself in financial disaster trying to save a business that was being negatively impacted by the out-of-network provider insurance reform of 2014-2018. So I walked away. And I entered the wild world of online coaching and didn’t look back. After a couple of years of deep life revaluation that I have been sharing parts of on my online platforms, I find myself presented with the most incredible opportunity. A company that was created to serve those struggling with mental health imbalances and addiction with products formulated to support the unique challenges these demographics face. And let me just tell you something… THIS IS NOT YOUR MAMA’S MLM! I’m honestly so damn impressed with the owners of this company, their personal values, their care to detail, their experience in this industry, their connections and financial partners… the list goes on. Tonight I began to get so excited about how this company, their products and their incredible compensation plan can help those struggling with mental health issues as well as those battling addiction and in recovery. I’m going to build a whole team within my team focused on serving these populations. My unique wisdom and knowledge of these worlds and their specific needs (both from a brain health and supplementation perspective, as well as from the need for financial stability perspective) makes me the perfect person to spearhead this. It feels like I may have just been working towards this moment my whole life. I’ve been looking for a NWM / MLM home because I believe in the power of this business model when done right, and I’ve found it in this company. They are still in pre-launch. Now for the not so funny news… The Libra Eclipse yesterday activated some big things in the world. This celestial event marks the culmination of a journey that began last October with the Libra solar eclipse. If you recall, the initial conflict with Israel and Hammas formally began on October 7th. Yesterday we witnessed a massive attack on Ukraine by Russia. Putin has a stellium in Libra. His Sun, Mercury, Neptune, and Saturn all reside there. The Sun is in the 11th house and the other planets are in his 12th house. Putin, who is a natural leader of people and is destined to be a great power in his lifetime does nothing unplanned and like it or not he carefully weighs all options and balancing the scales is of extreme importance to him. I am fascinated with the study of Astrology. History repeats itself through the stars.✨ Yesterday marked the end of the world as we know it. Look to the coming weeks to see the new world that is going to emerge. It's a period of letting go, of shedding the old to make way for the new.
