< Reposted from @mehmehfoodventure > Discovered a hidden gem that offers scrumptious food at an affordable price - Habits! This place is not just for good food, but also for those who want to unwind and enjoy a drink or two. In this post, I will be sharing about their small plates and appetisers. - First up is the Rosti ($8.90) 🥔, a simple yet satisfying dish that consists of plain shredded potato, fried to perfection and served with a dollop of sour cream. The rosti was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning to give it a delicious flavour. The greasiness of the dish was not overwhelming too. We couldn't stop ourselves from indulging in every bite of this sinfully tastisfying dish. - Next, we had the Loaded Fries ($12.90) 🍟. The generous portion of crispy fries was loaded with a spicy chilli con carne and melted cheese, creating a delicious combination of savoury and spicy flavours. For those who may not know, chilli con carne is a stew typically made with minced beef, chili peppers, onions, tomatoes, and a variety of spices. It adds a delightful kick to the fries, and while the portion was generous, I couldn't help but wish for even more chilli con carne to ensure every fry was fully covered and every bite was bursting with flavour. - Moving on, we tried the Truffle Fries ($11.90) , which was another delightful plate of crispy shoestring fries sprinkled with grated parmesan and truffle oil. Although the truffle flavour was not very prominent, the fries were still delicious on their own. - Finally, we couldn't resist trying the Chicken Skin ($6.90) 🍗, available in Mala or Curry flavour. Opting for the latter, we found the seasoning to be reminiscent of the classic Maggi seasoning, which made it a familiar yet enjoyable snack. The chicken skin itself was incredibly crispy, and the seasoning provided a salty kick that kept us reaching for more. 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐬 & 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐧𝐬 𝐀𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐨 𝐎𝐥𝐢𝐨 $𝟐𝟎+ Not spicy, taste not bad but sweet. 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐚𝐧 $𝟗+ goes well with beer! Overall we had a great night with affordable pricing but of course you need to utilise the card more to enjoy the perks, then you will find it's worth.
