< Reposted from @mehmehfoodventure > Continuing from the previous post, I'm excited to share with you some of the mains and pasta dishes that we had at Habits Restaurant and Bar! 🤩🍝 - Prawn Bisque Pasta ($19.90) 🦐❤️ Oh my, this dish was truly love at first bite! The prawn paste was incredibly thick and rich, and just one mouthful was enough to send my taste buds into overdrive. It tasted like the essence of prawn head tomalley that had been squeezed or sucked out to extract maximum flavour. The pasta was said to be cooked with a 6-hour stewed prawn broth, making each mouthful of noodles an explosion of umami goodness. And let's not forget the two big wok hei King prawns with shells peeled off - they were my absolute favourite part of the dish! - Carbonara ($13.90) 🍳🥓 Ah... The classic pasta dish that never fails to satisfy cravings! 🍝🤤 With this pricing, the Carbonara at this place was a steal! The sauce was simply delectable, a creamy white masterpiece that was seasoned to perfection. The dish was generously filled with chunks of savoury bacon which elevated the flavours and texture of the dish. To add an extra oomph to this already flavourful dish, it was topped with grated parmesan and an onsen egg. The egg yolk, when mixed with the sauce, created an extra layer of luxurious mouthfeel. - Korean Pasta ($18.90) 🇰🇷🍜 What an interesting twist! This fusion pasta features succulent marinated jeyuk (pork) meat that has a slight charred crisp to it. The pasta had a little sourish and spicy kick to it due to the kimchi, but it was not overpowering. It felt like Carbonara mixed with Kimchi flavour, creating a unique and delicious taste. Good for those who wants a change of taste or being adventurous! - Seabass Stew ($25.90) 🐟🍤🥔 The chewy seabass had a crispy skin, and it was served with a king prawn, mashed potatoes, and some veggies. The sauce was absolutely amazing, with a strong prawn umami flavour that made me want to lick the plate clean.
