So yeah... Egor finally did it!! We actually have an aux fix. All lenses now work both in Video and Photo. It's not in ROMs yet and will be added to upcoming builds but you can still try it. Steps to get aux working. • Download this blob. • Either with root file manager or ofox recovery file manager navigate to vendor/lib64/hw/ • There will already be a blob named com.qti.chi.override.so, rename it to something like com.qti.chi.override.backup. • Now copy the com.qti.chi.override.so you downloaded in step 1 to vendor/lib64/hw/ and set permission (chmod) 644 (rw for owner and only r for rest 2). It has been tested on LineageOS by Egor originally and then by me. It should work on most ROMs provided they have the Aux unlock hack in source. This probably excludes PE for now. Anyways, this has been good progress to having a more bug free CusROM experience and I hope the AOSP gods bless us with more fixes so that we can finally enjoy the "Beast" of a device that is the 6 Pro. 😂 Joking aside kudos to Egor and I think you all should thank him for the fix.
