Floresta Ethiopia would like to invite competent candidates who fulfill the requirements indicated below Major Duties and Responsibilities Manage all accounting transactions at project levels. Reconcile the accounts payable and receivable. Ensure timely bank payments. Make suggestions for procedural improvements in the relevant areas of finance. Assist in preparing the annual budget for the program office, monitor, and control and analyze the budget variance between budget and actual expenditure. Prepare monthly financial statements. Follow up check payments and collect receipts and other supporting documents. Ensure Floresta Ethiopia’s compliance with taxation and other routine statutory obligation in accordance with Ethiopian law. Maintain financial documents in accordance with existing Floresta Ethiopia’s accounting procedures and requirements. Collect, check and file all payment related documents properly on a daily basis Prepare payroll attendance and monthly time sheet. Perform other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary. Prepare reports and submit and finance and administrative-related activities, to program director on monthly and quarterly basis. Control and follow-up on relevant employee information for payroll preparation purposes (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days, and work schedules). Handles, controls, and supervises fleet management activities, including log sheet management and control, vehicle service management. Follow-up, control and supervise stock management. Follow-up, control and supervises cash management. Manage, organize and maintain different personnel records as required by the program director and administration and finance manager Follow-up, report and advise the program director on employee performance progresses & problems, behavioral problems if any Reports to: Program Director Required: 1(One) Sex: Female /Male Employee Duration: Full Time Contract Job Requirements Educational qualification and Experience BA/ BSC OR MA In Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Economics, Management, Business administration, financial Management and related fields. BA/ MA with 6/5 years’ related work experience respectively. Additional requirement skills: Hands-on experience with accounting software.
