🔥 Vanochtend blokkeerde XR met 40 rebellen alle ingangen van het hoofdkantoor van VNO-NCW in de Malietoren, precies boven de A12 tunnelbak in Den Haag. 🏢 Geen medewerker van deze gelikte lobbypartij, die de fossiele industrie helpt om de fossiele subsidies in stand te houden, heeft op kantoor kunnen werken vandaag. ❌ De eis is duidelijk: stop de fossiele lobby die de fossiele subsidies in stand houdt! ⛓ Iets na twaalven waren alle 40 rebellen die de ingangen met onder andere kettingen en lockons blokkeerden gearresteerd. Ze werden vervolgens aan de andere kant van Den Haag direct weer vrijgelaten. ✊ VNO-NCW is nog lang niet klaar met XR. Dit is dé partij die politici met misleidende informatie beïnvloedt om de fossiele industrie te blijven ondersteunen met tientallen miljarden aan belastingkortingen. 📣 Dus: WE KOMEN TERUG MET NOG VEEL MEER! ////////////// 🔥 This morning, 40 XR rebels blocked all entrances to the VNO-NCW headquarters in the Malietoren, right above the A12 tunnel in The Hague. 🏢 No employee of this lobby party, which helps the fossil industry to maintain fossil subsidies, was able to work in the office today. ❌ The demand is clear: stop the fossil lobby that maintains fossil subsidies! ⛓ Just after noon, all 40 rebels who blocked the entrances with chains and lockons, among other things, were arrested. And thus be complicit in driving the global climate and ecological crisis? ✊ XR demands that VNO-NCW immediately stop their fossil lobbying that maintain fossil subsidies and stop spreading disinformation about the fossil industry and fossil subsidies.

✊ On Thursday afternoon, May 9 at 2:00 PM, we will take part in a peaceful protest march against police violence from the A12 side of the Malieveld in The Hague. 📣 Join this Telegram group if you want to be there. ❌ Yesterday the police themselves announced that they are increasingly using 'non-professional violence' and this is clearly visible in the amount of violence they use against peaceful demonstrators. ⚖️ Two rebels just reported abuse by the police during the past two A12 blockades. Both suffered broken bones due to police brutality. 🔥 We therefore demand: 👉 an end to disproportionate police action 👉 an end to refusing to file reports against the police 👉 the visible wearing of service numbers by officers 👉 that the handling of the complaints procedure and reports against the police is handled by an external party. 💚 This march is certainly not only focused on police violence against XR rebels, so anyone who has dealt with this or has an opinion about it is welcome.
