Redirection is scary. Figuring out new path at the age of 35 is scary. Putting yourself in a new environment is scary. Meeting new people is scary. People is scary lolz. Not knowing where to go next is scary. Knowing all these and yet have to embrace em all is $€%#@&!!!! SCARY. Done not trying to fix my thoughts 😌 (My definition of: If you can’t change the scary thoughts, join them) Weirdly, feeling much better admitting than resisting the scary-ness. And you šŸ«µšŸ» Welcome to my scary post. Love, Yana Ali

ā€œIt’s time for you to get the support that you give to othersā€

Let me know if you read at this frigging hour. **still typing with one eye. Nighty night! šŸŒ™

A very late-night post. ā€œAre you helping people for the sake of helping people or are you helping people to fill a void in you?ā€ A question that stuck in my head. Not to pick sides which one is good or bad. But to understand where I’m coming from. I guess there were a lot in the past where I felt fulfilled and achieved when I able to help someone. It made me feel useful. Purposeful. Enough. But when I wasn’t helping anyone, when there was no one to support. I often felt... empty. That’s when I know. I tied my self-worth to — how useful I was to others, how beneficial my existence to society, how big my contribution. And when you hold a certain role that some people may look up to. It is easy to fall into this quite trap: ā€œI have to give/help first then I able to earn XYZ (fill in the blank: rest, love, money, safety)ā€ That’s sad & so conditional. Helping. Giving still matter. It is part of my values and I believe most of us too. But these days, I’m asking myself: How do I really want to move through life? To give whenever I want to. To not give whenever I choose not to. Despite my choices, I am whole and enough. To you, You are worthy regardless. With/without contributions you made. You are worthy simply because you exist. P/s: Writing with one eyes closed because it passed my bedtime. 🄱 It need to post or else it will be in my notes - forevah.

šŸ“Œ Normalize not giving everything until the last drop šŸ’§ of your cup only to recover when you’ve got nothing left. šŸ“Œ Normalize taking multiple steps back in between — not just when you’ve hit your limit. Pause is not the last resort. With so much love, Yana Ali.

As much as I’m invested in CE’s story— And genuinely happy to see women come together. Advocating awareness around unhealthy relationships… This is my big sis advice: Don’t dip your foot too deeply into the heat. This is her unfinished business. Let her walk through it. You have yours untuk di jalani juga. Whatever that she go through now needed to happen — to build her from within. Detach yourself. Watch from a distance. You can take the lessons, but don’t carry the flame. I do not agree with excessive name-calling atau makian yang melampau. That is when the message gets lost in the delivery. It doesn’t help more people to truly listen and learn more about it. Stick to the facts, my dear — that’s how you keep going. Salam sayang, Yana Ali.

ā€œYou are not what happened to you, you are what you choose to do with itā€

If you want to come at me and say I am a fan of Cik Epal. Akak dah beberapa kali follow & unfollow dia masa dia tengah berbahagia bersama Suhaimi. Idok ler sangat. Biashe-biashe je. But now, I follow CE sahaja. Because I see what I need to see. And I made my decision. P/s: Sometimes being neutral isn’t going to make much difference & impact. Jadi, kena juga take stand on something. Okies?

ā€œSiapa yang masih ambil tahu cerita Suhaimi & Cik Epal is a sign of low intelligenceā€. Sampai hati ek? Hahahha. Some people nampak kisah ini hanyalah cebisan gosip. Ada juga melihat ini sebagai marketing stunt. (To have this INSANE opinion, I wonder what kind of world we’re living in now?) Ada orang choose to stay neutral. Whatever your stand is. I’m not here to argue. I’m here to state my thoughts. You are very much welcome to discuss it. Untuk I secara peribadi. Kisah ini bersinggungan dengan my personal values sebagai wanita. It touch the spot where once you see it, you couldn’t unseen it. Cuit peha kiri, peha kanan terasa. And it just not only me - I ada anak lelaki yang perlu memimpin keluarga in future. So yes, I see this as more than just drama. There are real lessons worth paying attention to. To live & to be in relationship with manipulative people isn’t a joke. Orang tak mintak, tapi akak yang nak cakap dik. Itu jer. Kalau you choose to stay in your bubble, you do you gurllll. I am not into every scenes. But I do pick my scenes. Sekian, terima kasih šŸ¤«šŸ§ā€ā™‚ļø

Apa yang you belajar (even as housewife/stay at home mom), the impact doesn’t just stay there — The knowledge, way of thinking, and life values we carry ripples throughout the entire household and shape the children, the partner, and the whole family environment.

Can you be a little bit ā€œtoo muchā€? No, seriously. Girl. You’ve always been sweet. Your positivity? šŸ”›šŸ”. Your are giving the-next-Mel Robbins. I know you are smart & grounded šŸ§˜ā€ā™€ļø You are untouchable. ALL OF THAT. But. For once. I wanna see you be dramatic. Exaggerate things. Act a little out of touch. Say pointless things. Make zero sense. Be chaotic even. If that is necessary. Why? Because this world is already a whole drama. Everyone is walking around so tight. So careful & calculative. Very posture-ry. (I made up that word) And — people forget to just breath. Live. Chill. For once (or twice). Be the fun kid that sit at the back of class, not really listening & still passes the test. With love & sprinkle of nonsense, Yana Ali

Additional note: I love to see people who have sense of humor. I see them as smart people who know how to have fun. Ada childlike energy tu. They are low in ego because they are not afraid to look dumb and say silly things. This to me speaks grounded person.

My girl. It’s okay to not be taken seriously. Your seriousness isn’t tied to your worth. Your playfulness doesn’t make you any less important. You can be not serious. You can be laughable. You can be fun, quirky, and full of cheeky banter. And still be smart. And still be professional. And still be deeply respected. It’s not about them. It’s about you choosing to enjoy every part of yourself—fully. In fact, true respect doesn’t need to be earned through perfection, or a ā€œput-togetherā€ image. It happens when you choose to be respectful of yourself first. So, unshrink you. Your power, lives in how you can be so deep and still play. In how you're emotionally grounded one moment and dramatic the next (lol). How you can speak something profound, full of wisdom, then burst into laughter right after. That contrast? It’s what makes you unforgettable. It’s what makes you… full of colours 🌈 P/s: Tag a woman who needs to hear this. With love, Yana Ali
