| 12 | Il Tesoro americano ha deciso di raddoppiare la capacità dei buyback sui Treasury a lunga scadenza, aumentando il proprio intervento proprio sulla parte della curva dove i rendimenti restano più sotto pressione.
Tecnicamente non è QE: non interviene la Fed, non aumenta la base monetaria e non siamo davanti a una monetizzazione diretta del debito. Ma il segnale che arriva ai mercati è comunque potente: il Tesoro sta cercando di migliorare la liquidità dei bond lunghi e contenere la pressione sui rendimenti.
E mentre i tassi a lunga scadenza reagiscono scendendo, oro, argento e Bitcoin accelerano. È solo una coincidenza oppure gli asset reali stanno iniziando a prezzare un nuovo passo verso repressione finanziaria e debasement?
