So true. About an hour and a half after the shooting, I asked some family members if they had heard about the assassination attempt, and one replied flatly, "That didn't happen." When I asked why they would say that, they said they had been in the car for 2 hours listening to NPR, and they never reported it. Not one mention during that time. When others responded and confirmed the video footage, their response was "too bad they missed." I'm still so f*cking disgusted.
