It’s time for Oxford International Intellectual Property Moot (Oxford IP Moot)! 🌐
Oxford IP Moot is held annually in March, uniting students from numerous universities in their passion for the intellectual property law. The case is usually released in the beginning of October, and the teams are admitted to the International Oral Rounds upon successful qualification from the Written Rounds in January.

📆 Dates: 19-22 March 2025
👥 Teams: Generally 2-3 members per team
The successful journey of the Ukrainian team began two years ago, when in 2023 the girls were first to ever qualify for the international oral rounds and represented Ukraine in Oxford, they returned in 2024 and consolidated their success. 🏆
Our experienced mooters are ready to take on the role of coaches and assemble a true dream team:

| 9 |  +1We are thrilled to announce that the KNU team proudly participated in the 16th Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court (FIAMC) 2024, with oral rounds held from June 11 to 14.
Despite the challenging circumstances of the ongoing war in Ukraine, our team showcased their resilience and dedication on the international stage! The team was represented by talented students from the Institute of International Relations: Anna Nikolaichuk (3rd year), Sofia Saltynska (4th year), and Vladyslav Murachov (3rd year).
The team and Moot Court Society of the Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv express their appreciation to the team's experienced coaches: Pavlo Bogachenko, Viktor Pasichnyk, and Yuliia Demianchuk.
In addition to this, we express our immense gratitude to DLA Piper for their vital support. Their exceptional organization of the Milan Pre-moot, along with the invaluable resources and assistance provided, was instrumental in the team's preparation and participation in the competition. Also special thanks to the Investor-State Law Guide for providing access to their system, which greatly assisted the team in their research.
The skills acquired at FIAMC are especially important now, as they equip the younger generation to contribute effectively towards achieving justice for Ukraineand facilitating peacefull and just resolution of investment disputes worldwide. | 0 |

Tetiana Osypenko is an incoming junior associate in the international arbitration practice of AGA Partners Law Firm. She previously completed an internship at the Stockholm office of DLA Piper.
Tetiana holds a Master's degree in International Commercial Arbitration Law from Stockholm University.
In 2021, Tetiana won the III National Moot Court Competition on WTO Law organised by ELSA Ukraine. Subsequently, as a member of the KNU team for the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition, she made it to the Quarterfinals in the Final Oral Round in Geneva in 2022. Tetiana also participated in the FDI Moot, focusing on international investment arbitration.
Yuliia Bulenok works as a junior associate at AVELLUM and practices competition law.
Before John H. Jackson, Yullia participated in the Nuremberg Moot Court Competition 2023.
In 2024, Yuliia’s team became the WINNER of the 22 edition of the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition. In addition, she was recognized as the best oralist in the quarterfinals of the Grand Final!
However, for Summer School this list is not exhaustive since the school will be supported by our well-established coaches Oleksandra Sandul (associate at Sayenko Kharenko Law Firm, practice of international trade law), Tetiana Tanchyn (recovery and rebuilding manager in USAID CEP) and other alumni. | 0 |

The 2023/2024 team of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv has made history, becoming the WINNER of the competition in the Final Oral Round in Geneva.
However, as you may know, the KNU Team has a tradition to start its season with the Summer School on WTO law and later proceed with the SELECTION!
The School will be online, starting on 19 August 2024 and ending on 20 September 2024.

Today let us introduce the International & European Tax Moot Court Competition! 💸
🏦 The International & European Tax Moot Court is organized annually by the Institute of Tax Law of the KU Leuven and the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD).
It focuses on global taxation topics:
▪️ OECD Base Erosion and Profit shifting Action plan,
▪️ Global Anti-Base Erosion Rules (GloBE),
▪️ Common international law rules such as permanent establishments or Mutual Agreement Procedure.
📌 The competition consists of 2 phases: submission of memorandums and oral rounds. Only 16 selected teams can participate in oral rounds based on the assessment of the written memorandums.
An amazing advantage of this moot court is an absence of regional rounds. KNU participated in this moot court only twice and both times teams advanced to oral rounds at the result of their written memorandums.
